摘要
辽宁复州湾本溪组的岩石特征与辽宁本溪的本溪组剖面不同,下部层段以灰岩为主,上部层段以碎屑岩为主。下部有 6层含?灰岩,以Profusulinella动物群为主,可建立Profusulinella parva带,代表华北地台北部本溪组下部的一个?化石带,相当于辽宁本溪本溪组的Eostaffella sub-solana带。
The Penchi Formation is exposed near the Fuzhou Gulf of Liaoning,measuring 195. 19 min thickness. It is disconformably underlain by Ordovician limestone and conformably overlainby the Taiyuan Formation. In lithology, it can be generally divided into two parts as follows: Upper part (Beds 16--22),composed of thin--bedded mudstone and sandy shale interca-lated with limestone, yielding Pseudostaffella cuboides Rauser, P. sphaeroidea Ehrenberg,Profusulinella wangyui Sheng and P. pararhomboides Rauser et Beljaev? 50. 92 m Lower part (Beds 2--15),composed of purple shale with bauxite intercalations,interca-lated with six limestone beds,yielding the Profusulinella Fauna and the species Verella prolixa Sheng 144. 27m As the most common and important fusuline genus of the lower part,Profusulinella wasreported by Wang et al. (1989)from the Profusulinella parva zone of the lowermost UpperCarboniferous in the Fuzhou Gulf,consisting of Profusulinella parva Lee et Chen,P. trisulca-ta Thompson,P. staffellaeformis Kireeva,P. subovata Safonova,P. pararhomboides Rauser etBeljaev,P. paratimanica Rauser,P. rhomboides Lee et Chen, P. rhombiformis nibelensis Raus-er, P. cybaea Leontovich, P. succincta Sheng, P. aljutivica Rasuer,P. prisca Deprat, P. convo-luta Lee et Chen,P. ovata Rauser,P. skelenevatica Putrja,P. wangyui yantaiensis Sheng andP. ovata nytvica Safonova. The lower part of the Penchi Formation represented by the Pro-fusulinella parva zone is undoubtedly equivalent to the Eostaffella subsolana zone of theTaitzeho Valley.
