Why is That "It Can't Be Spoken of"——Zhuangzi's Discussion on the Language Predicament and Its Source

庄子以语言为维度 ,通过将现存世界划分为“可说”与“不可说”两个世界的方式提出了“道不可言”这一语言表达困境问题 ,并指出“成心”之存在、“道”之本性和“言”之对象化是产生语言表达困境的主客观原因。

Zhuangzi, by means of dividing the extant world into the two worlds that one 'can be spoken of' and the other 'can't be spoken of', has taken the language as the dimension and raised the problem of the language expression predicament that is 'Tao can't be spoken'. Moreover, Zhuangzi has pointed out that 'the being of fixed idea'; 'the natural character of Tao' and 'the targetization of language' are the subject and object reasons of which the language expression predicament comes into being.
