The paper firstly introduces the present situation of domestic and abroad natural gas metering technology,then describes the classification of natural gas metering methods,and expounds several common?owmeters in the world at present,emphasis on the importance of energy?owmeters.The paper emphaises on comparing the principles,calculation formulas and merit and demerit.Finally,the development trend of natural gas metering in the future and the feasibility and necessity of natural gas energy metering in China are analyzed and prospected.
