国外光计算的进展

The Development of Optical Computing in Foriegn Countries

本文介绍了国外光计算科研工作方面的进展,其中包括美国、欧洲、苏联在这方面的研究工作及主要研究内容。介绍了光学与电子学相比的优势所在及有关双稳态器件、光学线路、光学算法、关联存贮、神经网络式光计算机、光学互连方面的进展。最后指出了目前和长远的研究目标和对光计算机前景的估计。

This paper introduces the newly development of opticalcomputing in foriegn countries.It includes the research work in U.S.A.European countries and U.S.S.R.,the Priority of optics over electrouicsthe optical bistable devices,the optical circuits,the algorithm,the associ-ative memory or optical neural computer,and the interconnections in optic-al computing.Finally,the author gives his comments to the aim of theresearch in the field of optical computing.
