Equal dialogues and a demonstration of the cooperators' similarities and differences are methodologies we have tried in studying the Hui Muslim women and women's mosques. Such crosscultural cooperation has caught the notice of scholars in relating fields both at home and abroad. Here the paper is focusing on the author's thinking over the relating theories and methods in the process of the cooperative research, and its purpose is to remind the Hui intellectual society of the importance of gender studies. 
