Educational facilities is an important part of a zoo.It enriches the experience of visitors,is an important way to propagandize public the idea of biodiversity and environment conservation,and also the foundation for conservation education to children and teenagers.In this paper,we mainly discussed the key points of designing and manufacturing the educational facilities.For the content,educational facilities should be informative,interesting,and have clear theme.Also we need to pay attention to the readability and accuracy,consider the language used.About the form and layout,the facilities should be diverse,interactive,artistry,readable and so on.We also discussed the classification of zoo educational facilities,how to choose the right material,organize the work team.and ensure the safety of the facilities etc.
