Color Culture of Wudang Mountains

中国人对色彩有丰富的认识,从社会政治、宗教、文化、礼仪赋予了各种颜色不同的象征意义,形成了独特的中华色彩文化。武当山在其建筑、神像、道仙的服饰、修道场所等色彩的运用上,有其鲜明的道家思想和道教文化的体现,也显示出道教名山的奇特魅力。

Chinese people have a rich understanding of color and given different symbolism to different color from the perspectives of politics,religion,culture,and rite,forming unique Chinese color culture.The use of color in Wudang Mountains' construction,god,Taoist garment,and cultivating field have demonstrated striking Taoist thought and culture,which also demonstrated the special charm of Wudang Mountains,the holy land of Taoism.
