Geometry is widely used in product design,and various geometrical shapes are the important modeling language due to their mathematical beauty.To clear the relationship between geometry and product model design,the article begins with the analysis of the characteristics of different geometrical shapes which are utilized frequently in product modeling.Then it focuses on the visual effects and impacts they bring when they are as basic shapes of products,examples are given for illustration as well.
