The Plan of Dadu's Imperial City

元大都这座译译伟大的都城在忽必烈的统治下成为了世界上最庞大最有名的城市之一。尽管有着蒙古族的祖先以及独特的历史背景和众多的都城建设者的因素,大都仍然是纯粹的中国化的产物。而事实上,大都不仅和传统的都城规划紧密联系,并且比此前的中国地域内的都城规划都要传统。

Dadu,the great capital,during KHUBILAI KHAN'S life time became one of the largest and most famous cities in the world.Although there were some factors as like its Mongolian ancestors,uniqueness historical context and masses of capital builders,Dadu was purely Chinese product.In fact,not only it has closely connection with classical captial plan,but is more traditional than any previous imperial plan within China's borders.
