艾米丽.卡尔是加拿大现代著名的艺术家,其以印第安土著文化为主题的艺术创作心理受到地域、教育、政治和经济以及文学创作的深刻影响。她选择自己表达艺术的姿态和方式,立场和心态,实际是文化整合的内化过程,即是由文化资源转向诗意的艺术表达的过程。这一过程是她的心态与印第安文化生态的共生现象,烘托了卡尔独立灵魂的存在。
Emily Carr is a famous Canadian modern artist.The psychological constitution of her paintings with the theme of Indian native culture is greatly influenced by region,education,politics and economics,and her literary works as well.Her own choice of ways to paint,attitudes towards art and her mentality is actually the process of internalization of culture integrity,that is to say,the process of switching from cultural resources to poetical expression of art.It is the symbiosis of her mentality and Indian cultural ecology,which illuminates the existence of Carr's independent soul.
