Differences between Contemporary Art and Contemporary Design

当代艺术与当代设计都是以现代主义为背景而产生的反思,在当今时代下,二者时而交叉,学者将当代设计称为一种特殊的当代艺术;时而分离,当代艺术为我,当代设计为他。要研究二者之间的差异,首先应该清楚二者的概念与联系,从相似性中得到启发,提炼出差异性。文章将当代艺术与当代设计进行对比,分别从主体、目的、过程三个方面来阐述二者之间的差异。

Both contemporary art and contemporary design are reflected by the background of modernism.In the current era,sometimes intersect,so some scholars call contemporary design that a special contemporary art.Sometimes separated,contemporary art for me,contemporary design for him.In order to study the difference of them,firstly,we should know the concept and relation of them,getting inspired from the similarity,and extracted from the difference.This paper discusses the relationship between contemporary art and contemporary design,and expounds the differences from the three aspects:behavior subject,purpose and process.
