The Application of Traditional Door God Symbol in Graphic Design

门神年画不但传承和表现着中国传统民俗文化,而且是亘古至今民间艺术的一个独特体现。文章以民间艺术为切入点,简要阐述了门神的起源,并从符号学角度出发,对门神艺术特征进行研究,根据门神在历史变迁中含义的转变过程,结合门神代表性符号在平面设计中的运用,探索平面设计如何更好地在继承传统的同时又与时代创新不脱节。
