Historical Documents and Historiography of Chinese Arts and Crafts

中国工艺美术史的研究中,史料搜集及史料鉴别,尤其是文献史料鉴别,特别重要。中国工艺美术史的研究途径不外门类史与断代史两种,特别是断代史的研究,既关联着艺术表现,也关联着政治、经济、宗教、思想、民俗、民族、地理等众多的因素。应尽可能全面地占有史料,注重实物与文献的相互印证,这是建设中国工艺美术史最为行之有效的方法。

The study of the history of Chinese arts and crafts put emphasis on historical documents.This paper first introduces the historical materials of Chinese arts and crafts,explains the collection of historical documents and the identification of historical materials,especially the importance of the identification of historical documents in literature.Secondly,the history of Chinese arts and crafts is classified into two categories:the category history and the history of generations.Especially,the study of the history of generation is related to art performance,and other factors such as politics,economy,religion,thought,folklore,nationality,geography,etc.Finally,it is the most effective to build a history of Chinese arts and crafts by taking the historical documents as much as possible and paying attention to the mutual influence of physical objects and literature.
