According to preliminary statistics,China’simport & export of non-ferrous metals areexpected to experience a slowdown in 2004,especially in the growth rate of export,andeven a zero growth rate will show up in the firstquarter.The factors that will affect the importand export of non-ferrous metals in 2004 havebeen analyzed as follows:as the adjustedexport tax refund rates became effectivestarting from January 1<sup>st</sup>,2004,the end of 2003had seen large amount of non-ferrous export
