I will always cherish the memory of Chu Tunan,one of the founders and the first president of the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC).From 1978 to 1986, Chu served as the CPAFFC’s vice-president, assisting the then-president Wang Bingnan. An elderly man of compelling integrity, he commanded universal respect. People addressed him as Venerable Chu.
