China' s sovereignty includes both China's Mainland and Taiwan Province, but the executive power is separated. This means there is only one China, but the systems of rule differ across the Taiwan Straits. The Chinese way of rule is different from that of the then East Germany and West Germany and the present North Korea and South Korea.
