Tracing the Relationship between Romanian and Latin:Focusing on Lexical Items

本文拟结合其他罗曼语,尝试考察罗马尼亚语同母体拉丁语的渊源关系。就词汇而言,罗语的特点既表现在其保守性(对拉丁词汇的沿袭),也表现在其创新性(对拉丁词汇的改造,以拉丁词汇为基础的创生),而多语源特点造就了罗马尼亚语的混杂性与丰富性。

With other Romance languages as reference,this article attempts to investigate the relationship between Romanian and its Latin matrix.By focusing on lexical items,it is argued that the particularities of Romanian are reflected not only in its conservatism(such as its inheritance of some Latin words),but also in its innovations(such as the renewal of some Latin words and the creation based on Latin).The characteristics of multiple etymologies make Romanian complex and rich.
