Mao Zedong had been doing research in his life time, Research is the basis of the establishment and development of Mao's theory. This article analyses the establishment and development of Mao's theory and reveals in terms of philosophical methodology that Mao's theory is based on dialectical and historical materialism. Mao's theory is endowed with Marx's cosmopolitanism and Methodology. Thus, it's of great value to our Party, and it's of both theoretical and practical significance for us to study it today.
