摘要
OTN是以波分复用技术为基础,在光层组织网络的传送网。随着数据类业务的持续增长,传送网络对带宽的需求和大颗粒业务的智能调度需求也与日俱增,同时还要兼顾多业务接入和汇聚能力、高集成度、低成本等需求。传统的SDH提供了多种业务的传输功能及丰富的保护、管理功能,但不能满足未来骨干网节点Tbit以上的大容量业务调度需求。OTN设备由于具备多业务透明传送、高效的业务复用封装,可以提供快速可靠的大颗粒业务保护能力、良好的运维管理能力、支持控制平面的加载等诸多优势,因此将在传送网络中进行大量应用。
Optical Transport Network is a transport network of optical layer network based on WDM.With the continuous growth of data business,there is an increasing demand of broadband for transport network and intelli-gent scheduling of large-capacity business.Meanwhile,more requirements,such as,Multi-Service Access, high integration and low cost are to be satisfied.Although traditional SDH provides multi -service transporta-tion,various protection and management,it cannot satisfy large-capacity (over Tbit)business of future POP. OTN is equipped with multi-service transparent transport and efficient encapsulation and multiplexing;it pro-vides quick and reliable protection of large-capacity business and effective O&Mmanagement,and supports the loading of Control Plane.So with all the advantages,OTN will be greatly applied in the transport network.
