Television network is easily struck by lightning due to its special structure,thus the analysis of lightning protection technology in cable TV network is of great significance. This paper starts from the analysis of the basic structure of cable TV network,and introduces the specific lightning protection measures of the frontend,transmission,and cable distribution system. We hope this paper can provide advice to ensure the safe broadcasting of cable TV and improve the lightning protection of cable TV network system.
