江苏省有线电视网、电信网和互联网的网络一体化的实施,为有线数字电视的发展提供了机遇,但有线数字电视是新生事物,行业内缺乏可以借鉴的运营模式,与电信行业的巨大差距以及残酷的市场竞争,使得有线数字电视的发展遇到了前所未有的困境,如果不及时采取有效的对策,这种情况是难以改变的,据此,对有线数字电视行业的优势、面临的困难及应对的措施加以详细的阐述。

The integration of cable TV network,telecommunication network and Internet network in Jiangsu province provides vast opportunities for the development of digital cable TV. However,since digital cable TV is new,there is short of operation modes for us to learn from in the industry. Besides,that it is left far behind the telecommunications industry and the brutal competitions in the market cause unprecedented difficulties to the development of digital cable TV. If we do not take timely and effective measures,this dilemma will be further intensified. In this paper,the advantages,the difficulties faced and the measures to deal with the digital cable TV industry are elaborated.
