Objective To understand the infection status of avian influenza A( H5,H7 and H9) virus in occupational exposure population in Jiangyin,so as to provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of human infected avian influenza A virus( AIV). Methods The serum of the monitoring population was collected. The HI antibodies of H5 N1,H7 N9,H9 N2 subtype avian influenza virus in serum were detected with the red blood cell agglutination inhibition test. Excel software was used to analyze the results statistically. Results A total of 80 occupational exposure populations were investigated. Serological results showed that 41 out of 80 sera samples were detected positive for the neutralizing antibody of AIV( 45. 00%),which were 14 of H7 N9 subtupe and 27 of H9 N2 subtup. There was a statistically significant difference between occupational exposure and control group in AIV of H9 N2 subtype( χ2= 10. 98,P < 0. 05). Questionnaire survey showed that the exposure persons were older, the cultural level was low,the flu vaccination rate was 0. 00%,and the protection awareness was poorer. Conclusion There are infection case of AIV( H7 N9 and H9 N2 subtype) in the occupational exposure population in Jiangyin. Health education should be strengthened to improve protection awareness. At the same time, the monitoring of the occupational population and external environment should be strengthened to reduce the risk of avian influenza infection.
