Snow-bridge's Notes of Poets and Poetryhas preserved abundant historically valuable anecdotes,especially about the people and events of the'Eight Banners'of the Qing dynasty.In the book,history is substantiated in people and events that can bear cross-examination between historical evidence and literary works.
