云南地方院校学生英语语言态度和语音教学——以玉溪师范学院为例

Students’ English Learning Attitudes and Needs in Local Universities of Yunnan:A Study on Yuxi Normal University

从调查看,虽然玉溪师范学院大学英语B级班学生的英语基础较差,但大部分学生认为英语非常重要。语音是大学英语学习的难点,提高语音能力是学生的重要学习需求。在大学英语教学中强化语音教学后,学生的学习态度未发生明显变化,但学生的语音、口语和单词拼写能力有所改善,大部分学生表示应在大学一年级日常教学中强化语音环节的训练。

A survey shows that most students at the level B in Yuxi Normal University do not have a solid English foundation.They,however,believe English is fundamentally important,of which English phonetics is a difficult point for them to learn and is also the most needed skill.After strengthening phonetic teaching in the teaching of college English,the writer of this paper finds that students’learning attitudes have not been changed obviously,but their pronunciation,oral English and the ability of word spelling have been improved.Most students say that they should strengthen the training of phonetics in the daily teaching of the first year college English.
