On the Construction of Medical Ethics in China in the New Era

中国当代医学伦理学发展近四十年,迄今已奠定了坚实基础:医学伦理学的自我定位已明确、发展的基本方向已明晰、整体方法论正在形成、多元主体协作正在磨合。为顺利启动新时代中国医学伦理学的建构,所有参与者都必须恰当地应对学科精准定位、资源优化运用、中西正确对比、研究方法优选、评价共识生成、主体合作优化六大新挑战。其中的关键环节是,医学伦理学专业学者必须对理论建构、实践角色和学风建设等有正确理念并积极担当。

In China,contemporary medical ethics has been developed for nearly forty years,which has laid a solid foundation so far.The self-orientation and the development direction of medical ethics are clear,the holistic methodology is forming,and the cooperation of multiple subjects is adjusting.In order to successfully initiate the construction of Chinese medical ethics in the new era,all participants must properly deal with six new challenges,namely,the precise orientation of the discipline,the optimal use of the resources,the correct comparison between China and the West,the optimization of research methods,the generation of evaluation consensus,and the optimization of subject cooperation.The key point in the construction of the medical ethics in new era is that,professional scholars are required to hold correct concepts and take active roles in the theory construction,practice and academic atmosphere building.
