摘要
目的以中奥-欧盟暑期学校为例,探讨短期海外游学对高等院校在读学生跨文化交际能力培养的影响。方法 2016年7~8月利用文化智能反映受访者跨文化交际能力,采用电子版本自填式问卷对2016年该项目参与学生以及2012~2015年中国中医科学院参与学生进行调查。采用单样本t检验,对文化智能量表4个维度和20个条目得分与平均值(持'中性'态度者,介于赞同与不赞同之间)进行比较。结果共有48名参与者参与本调查。通过参与中奥暑期学校,受访者在文化智能4个维度均有显著提高(P<0.01)。在具体条目方面,除了'增进了对其他文化的婚姻体系的认识'以及'更加喜欢生活在自己不熟悉的文化中'未有显著的提高外(P>0.01),其余条目得分均有显著提高(P<0.01)。结论短期海外游学能显著提高高等院校在读学生跨文化交际能力。
Objective Taking China-Austria-EU summer school as example, to investigate the effects of short-term overseas study tour on improving students′ intercultural communicative competence for undergraduate or graduate students. Methods Intercultural communicative competence could be measured by culture intelligence. Participants in2016 China-Austrian-EU summer school, as well as students from Graduate School of China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medical Sciences who attended program from 2012 to 2015, were both investigated by electronic version of a self-administered questionnaire survey from July to August 2016. The scores of the four dimensions and all the items of cultural intelligence were respectively compared with the average value( 'neutral' attitude, between approval and disapproval) by t test. Results Totally 48 participants in the summer school were investigated. As for four dimensions of cultural intelligence of the participants, the value was significantly increased(P < 0.01). In addition to item 'I know better the marriage systems of other cultures' and item 'I prefer to living in cultures that is unfamiliar to me'(P >0.01), the scores of the other items were significantly higher(P < 0.01) than before. Conclusion The intercultural communication competence can be significantly improved by short-term overseas study tour for undergraduate or graduate students.
