Xinjiang Hami Uygur embroidery is a unique intangible cultural heritage on the Silk Road. It boasts the value of inheritance in pattern sculpt, technique, archaeology, ethnic characteristics. From the perspective of sustainable development the current situation and bottleneck of Uygur embroidery were analyzed, elaborating on the ways of its inheritance and innovation, probing into real problems behind inheritors and heritage areas, exploring the application prospect of Hami Uygur embroidery, and inheriting the national intangible cultural heritage, with a view to establishing the complete Uygur embroidery industry.
