The article overviews the difference between the physical examination population and ordinary department patient, analyzes the factors that affect the spatial scale of the physical examination institution, and compares the dimensions of the main space of the physical examination institutions in general hospitals, such as the hall, waiting area and examination room, and gets the conclusion that the hall and waiting area are the key to the spatial scale.
