The Semantic Evolution of the Polysyllabic Words with Coordinate Structure in the Poems by Li Bai

旧词产生新义的途径是多种多样的,本文着重探讨修辞影响词义的问题。就李白诗歌并列式复合词而言,其词义演变受“修辞影响”主要体现在“借代”、“比喻”和“用典”这三种手法上,其中“借代”、“比喻”使词义发生演变更为突出。以此揭示出诗歌词语因修辞而产生新义的途径。

There are different ways of semantic evolution.This paper focuses on and reveals one of the ways which rhetoric plays an important role in.For the coordinate compounds in Li Bai's poems,metonymy,analogy and allusion are the main rhetorical devices that cause semantic evolution,among which metonymy and metaphor are more prominent.
