Annotation of Shujinglu(Record of the War and Slaughter in Sichuan in the Alternate Period of Ming and Qing Dynasty)

本文所据《蜀警录》为民国元年重刊本(《中国野史集成》,巴蜀书社1993年出版),有删节。书末有《自纪》,系作者自述生平。

The author Sujinglu,was Ou-yang Zhi(1621—?)in the alternate period of Ming and Qing Dynasty,who was born in Guang’an(in Sichuan Province).In the year 1644,he was captured by Zhang Xianzhong and imprisoned in Chengdu.And he escaped the next year.Ou-yang had experienced the war in the military camps of Zhang Xianzhong,the Southern Ming,the Qing and the bandits,and witnessed the atrocities of holocaust.Therefore,Shujinglu is a precious document which has recorded the chaos.
