摘要
With the new round of reform of CET Band-4 and Band-6 around the corner,the focus and efficiency of English teaching at universities become a hot topic again.The essay aims at finding out if students’ proficiency level can be increased by an extracurricular voluntary extensive reading program and its limitations.The paper is concluded with some suggestions.
