摘要
This paper centers on Jane Eyre’s non-feminist qualities, targeting some critics’ feminist attitudes towards the heroine’s characteristics. It proves that Jane follows suits of the traditional marriage, would not break the conventional law of morality and values wealth and class as the base to matrimony. And it finally draws that such a lively character does have limitations in Victorian time.
