Curriculum Development-its Implementation and Effectiveness on English Language Teaching and Learning

The paper aims at discussing the important role of the curriculum development in the English language teaching and learning.By analyzing and discussing the national curriculum in each period and its effect on the English language teaching and learning,the paper call for an awareness of actively engaging in curriculum implementation in teachers who are the main actual implementers of the national curriculum.
