樱花新品种‘沁园樱’

A New Cerasus yedoensis Cultivar ‘Qinyuanying'

‘沁园樱’是由‘染井吉野樱’(Cerasus yedoensis ‘Somei-yoshino’)芽变选育而来的樱花新品种。落叶乔木,在长沙地区11月落叶。成熟叶长椭圆形,纸质,叶正面有茸毛,叶柄上有白色茸毛,上端常有2腺体。先花后叶,始花期3月中下旬,终花期3月底到4月初,花瓣为5片,呈卵圆形。

The‘Qinyuanying'is a new Cerasus yedoensis cultivar,which was selected from the bud mutation of Cerasus yedoensis‘Somei-yoshino'. The‘Qinyuanying'is a deciduous tree that the leaves fall in November in Changsha City of China. The leaves at maturity are long elliptic,papery,with adaxial velutinous. There frequently are white velutinous on the petioles and two glands on their apexes. The flowers emerge before the leaves in early spring that the start of flowering is in middle to late of March and final flowering stage from end of March to early April. They are ovate with five petals.
