新时代中的传承与创新——以十九大报告西班牙文翻译为例

Continuation and Innovation of Translation in the New Era——Taking the Spanish Version of the Report to the 19th CPC National Congress as an Example

党的十九大报告是新时代中国共产党人的宣言,是承前启后、继往开来的纲领性文件。报告明确提出中国特色社会主义进入了新时代,系统归纳阐释了党的十八大以来中央提出的一系列新概念、新提法、新表述,展现了党面临新的历史使命的新作为,对内宣和外宣而言都是至关重要的文本。其语言灵动、文风大气、前后联动,具有极强的政治性、思想性、战略性,对翻译提出了很高的要求。本文以十九大报告西文翻译为例,通过分析具体实例,探讨了中央文献对外翻译工作者如何在新时代的历史背景下理解好新概念,在翻译原则和翻译策略上把握好传承性、创新性和时代性,为中央文献对外翻译贡献新作为。

The Report to the 19 th CPC National Congress is a declaration of Chinese communists in a new era,and a framework document that reflects on the past and looks towards the future. The report clarifies that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era,systematically summarizes and expounds on a series of new concepts,new notions,and new expressions introduced by the CPC Central Committee since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,and demonstrates the CPC’s new endeavors to accomplish its new historic missions,thus being extremely important material for both domestic and international communication. With its vivid language, broad vision,and textual coherence, this report is highly political, insightful, and strategic, imposing demanding requirements on translation. Taking the Spanish version of the Report to the 19 th CPC National Congress as an example,this essay uses specific cases to discuss how translators should understand new concepts against the backdrop of a new era,and how they should balance the continuation,innovation,and contemporary relevance of the principles and strategies of translation, with a view to making new contributions to the translation of CPC documents.
