中央文献翻译中的加词显化现象——以十九大报告俄译本为例

Amplification for Explicitation in the Translation of China’s Political Documents——With the Russian Version of the Report to the 19th CPC National Congress as an Example

显化是指'对原语中暗含的,但可以从语境中推导出的信息在译语中加以明示',即在译文中添加有助于译文读者理解的显化表达,或者说将原文隐含的信息显化于译文中,使意思更明确,逻辑更清楚,更有助于读者理解。在本篇文章中,我们以中共十九大报告俄译本为素材,研究在翻译过程中,如何通过增添词语来实现显化,以期在未来的中央文献翻译工作中,能够帮助我们更加合理地应用这一策略。同时在翻译中还应避免不必要的加词,导致译文过度显化。

Explicitation means to make the implied yet derivable messages clear enough by adding words in order for the target readers to understand the translation better. In this paper,we take the Russian version of the Report to the 19 th CPC National Congress as an example to study how to achieve explicitation by adding words in translating with the aim to provide more proper use of the strategy in the future translation work. Meanwhile,we should avoid unnecessary amplification,which may over-explicitate the translation.
