摘要
通过句法成分提取,"X的"实现了名词化、话题化。"X的是"结构具有话题性、导向性等元话语性,反映言者的元语用意识,是元话语标记;分布上,"X的是"是话语分界,在语音、结构、命题、语用上都表现为独立的后指性界标,位于篇章首或篇章中;同时,"X的是"符合汉语话题的三个层级特征,是原型话题标记;功能上,"X的是"表现为两个层次:第一层是双重语义关系标记,第二层是引导式话题转换标记。它把言者、语篇和读者连接起来,引导读者理解语篇关系、完成话题转换。
Through the abstraction of syntactic components,and after the nominalization and topicalization of'X de(的)','X de Shi(的是)'takes on metadiscourse characteristics,which reflects the speaker’s metapragmatic awareness and is a metadiscourse signal;In terms of its distribution,'X de Shi(的是)'marks the boundary of discourse,functioning as an independent signal in terms of phonetics,structure,proposition,and pragmatics;As a cataphoric reference unit,it appears in the beginning or the middle of the discourse;In Chinese sentences,the'topic'has three distinct characteristics,'X de Shi(的是)'possesses all of them and thus is a prototypical topic;Pragmatically,'X de Shi(的是)'may play two different roles:the signal of a double semantic relationship and the interactive signal of topic switch.It connects the participants of discourse,facilitating the readers understanding of discourse relationship and achieving topic switch.
