摘要
“一带一路”倡议对我国英语教育提出了新的要求。我国的英语教育需要充分关注全球语言生态:原住民语言复兴将是重要的世界语言趋势之一;英语在全球的使用日益呈多样化态势——大量英语变体崛起,混杂英语在民间广泛使用。基于全球语言生态和英语语言世界自身发生的深刻变化,与“一带一路”全球化4.0理念相应的是英语教育4.0模式:调整我国英语教育现有格局,将非母语英语变体和混杂英语适时纳入高校英语教育;增加语言情感、语言态度和语言伦理教育;注重发展人文学科的英语专业;在英语教育中融入文化自觉意识。
The Belt and Road Initiative has posed new challenges to English education in China.From the Belt and Road perspective,English education in China has to fully note the linguistic biodiversity around the globe:revitalization of indigenous languages will prove to be one of the most consequential social trends in coming decades;the global use of English has increasingly manifested itself in diversity,which is typified by the emergence of English varieties and the wide use of Pidgin English in the folks.Based on the global linguistic biodiversity and profound change in the English world per se,the English education fitting in with globalization 4.0 initiated by the Belt and Road Initiative is English Education 4.0:Taking varieties of English and Pidgin English into the English curricula in universities;embracing the teaching of non-linguistic factors,typically linguistic feelings,linguistic attitudes and linguistic ethics;strengthening liberal education for English majors and cultivating cultural consciousness in English education.
