城陵矶轮船中转港的形成研究

打破城陵矶港区单一木帆船航行方式的是英国海军舰队,开辟城陵矶港区轮船运输航线的却是湘鄂两省的民营轮船公司。岳州开埠,标志着湖南正式进入半殖民地半封建社会。外轮的入侵不可避免地拉开了城陵矶港区航线不良竞争的帷幕,不同货物采用的不同的运输方式、自然航行条件等不可抗拒因素的影响,促成了城陵矶轮船中转港口的形成,战争却摧折了一个天然良港的运行。
