陈培勋先生一生创作了大量音乐作品,其中钢琴作品《双飞蝴蝶主题变奏曲》结合了广东民间音乐的精华与西方钢琴音乐的创作手法,在世界范围内流传甚广。其创作特征主要体现为:旋律中大量运用复调旋律、粤调旋律和线性旋律,调式以民族调式为主,曲式结构采用双主题变奏形式,和声中三度音程、八度音程与变和弦多次出现,作品呈现出浓郁的民族特色。

Mr. Chen Peixun created a great number of music works,among which his representative piano works Two Flying Butterflies combined the essence of Guangdong folk music and the creative techniques of western piano music,which is widely spread in the world. This paper makes an analysis of its creative characteristics from such aspects as the melody,tune,structure,style,harmony and performance,etc.
