Tjibaou Cultural Center ——Integration of Traditional Culture and Modern Technology

建筑大师R·皮阿诺(意)在特吉巴奥文化中心的设计中,充分挖掘和利用当地的传统文化与自然资源,在建筑形象和总体布局上继承了传统民居的特色,并结合传统的技术思想,运用现代高科技技术,在被动式通风系统设计、自然材料的选择和建筑的隔热等方面达到了与自然生态的平衡。

Renzo Piano, the famous Italian architect who designed the Tjibaou Cultural Center, paid attention to the traditional culture and made a full use of the local natural resources. With the ideas of the traditional technology , he combined the architecture with the nature in ecological balance effect using modern high-tech methods, such as the system of passive ventilation, the use of the natural materials and the natural daylight. The center inherited the features of the traditional inhabitation with the architectural image and the total layout.
