浅谈外语教学中语言教学与言语教学的互动关系

On Interrelations between Language Teaching and Speech Teaching

通过访谈、问卷调查、课堂观察等方法,对大学英语教学中语言教学与言语教学的互动关系进行了研究。发现大多数教师只注重语言教学,严重忽视言语教学。结果学生严重缺乏交际能力。提出教师应转变观念、改革方法,科学处理语言与言语教学两者关系,加强交际能力的培养,以适应入世后中国经济发展的需要。

The author carries out a study on interrelations between language teaching and speech teaching by means of survey and classroom observations,finding that most teachers have laid too much emphasis on language teaching,but awfully neglected speech teaching.And hstudents trained in this way are merely able to do te multiplechoice,but awfully lack communicative competence.Therefore,this article states that college English teachers in China should innovate the old-fashioned teaching methods,and shift the out-of-date teaching ideology to the scientific balance of language teaching and speech teaching to develop students'intercultural communicative competence so as to meet the requirement of the economic development in China.
