摘要
In the Eastern Jin and the Southern Dynasties continuous wars in the Huaike valley did much damage to agricultural production and the social economy.However,because of the Huaihe valley’s being an important strategic position the Southern government took a lot of measures to resume and develop agricultural production,which greatly promoted the agricultural production in the valley.The measures taken to resume and develop agricultural production under the special condition of continuous wars is a valuable historical heritage.
