Serious harms resulted from ecological problems in the period of the Wei,Jin,the Southern and Northern Dynasties aroused the self_conciousness and strengthening of people's sense of ecology,which further developed ecological knowledge.People made deep observation,study and utilization of the influence of environment on the growth and development of animals and plants and the complicated relationships among creatures,which promoted the development of agricuatural production.
