The reformation in the elementary curriculum demands that the traditional teaching scheme must be transformed. Supported by such brandnew theories as structuralism learning theory, multiple intelligence and postmodern curriculum theory, this transformation brings various challenges to the higher education of teachertraining. Adequate tactics must be adopted so as to meet the challenge and actualize its rapid development.
