Adaptive Mesh Generation and Its Application

自适应网格是80年代以后发展起来且被认为是目前最完善面又精确的一种崭新的网格生成方法。本文通过变分原理,说明了自适应网格生成的方法并推导出建立自适应网格的公式,通过数值生成例子和在船舶势流计算中网格生成的应用,表明了该方法在数值计算问题中有许多优点,特别是能提高数值计算的精度。

The adaptive mesh developed in 80'is now considered the most perfect and more accurate method of grid generation. This paper uses the vatiation theoty to describe the method of adaptive mesh generation and derives the formulas for setting up the adaptive mesh. Numerical examples and application of grid generation in ship potential flow caleulation show the advantages of the method in numerical calculation. The most important result is that this method can raise calculation accuracy.
