摘要 与并行处理机相比,基于局域网的并行FDTD算法是解决复杂电磁问题相对简单的、有效的方法。本文讨论了利用网络进行FDTD并行计算时需要解决的两个关键问题:区域划分及负载平衡策略,并利用局域网内的2台和4台PC实现了对平面光波导实例的并行计算,给出了实验结果。结果表明,利用该方法可以获得较好的加速比,并能大大提高计算的效率。 Compared with parallel processors, the parallel FDTD scheme based on local network is a relatively simple and efficient way to solve complex electromagnetics problem. Two key problems, which should be solved in FDTD parallel computing on local network are discussed in this paper. One is region division And the other is the strategy of computing load balance. This scheme is implemented with two and four PCs respectively in local network. A planar optical waveguide example is simulated by parallel FDTD method and the results are presented. It is shown that this scheme could obtain a better speedup rate and could improve computing efficiency.
