According to the electric power and heat energy demand profiles of the office building, and the characteristics of Beijing local electric network, the costs of the distributed energy resource systems are calculated based on the cost-effective analysis. From the point of view of the power resource management cost of customer; the feasibility of distributed energy resource in the competitive electric market structure is discussed
