人的现代化是社会现代化的中心问题,社会现代化的实质是人的现代化。在现代化的历史进程中;社会现代化和人的现代化是同一现代化过程的两个侧面。人的现代化包括人的思维方式的现代化、人格品质的现代化和生活方式的现代化等基本内容。在现实层面上,通过对我国近代以来在追求现代化过程中认识误区的分析,强调只有坚持走以经济建设为中心,同时又大力加强社会主义精神文明建设的“两个文明一起抓”之路,才是实现我国社会主义现代化从而实现人的现代化的必由之路。

The modernization of person is an important issue and the essence of a social moderniaztion. In the progress of a social modernization,the modemizations of person and society are two closely related parts. The modernization of person mainly includes the modernization of thinking style, personalist and living style. This paper analyses the misunderstanding in pursuing modernization of China, and holds the opinion that the accomplishment of the Chi-nese modernization should persity in the principle-Economy improvement being the core.as well as the enhancement of people's spiritual life.
