Correctly Realizing and Dealing with Relations in Socialist Cultural Construction

从我们党在执政条件下几十年领导社会主义文化建设的实践来看,要保证社会主义文化建设的健康发展,就必须正确认识与处理五种涉及文化建设全局的重大关系:(1)"一元化"与"多样化"的关系;(2)继承传统与发展创新的关系;(3)民族文化与外来文化的关系;(4)专业文化与群众文化的关系;(5)自主发展与宏观管理的关系。

The Chinese Communist Party has carried out positive researches into the field of leading socialist cultural construction since it came into power. She has made much progress and has a cumulated rich experience. In order to guarantee the development of socialist cultural construction, we must correctly realize and tackle five kinds of relations during the socialist cultural construction from practicing the socialist cultural construction: (1)the relations between 'centralization' and 'plurality'; (2)the relations between inheriting traditions and bringing forth new ideas; (3)the relations between national culture and foreign culture; (4)the relations between professional culture and public culture; (5)the relations between independent development and macro-administration.
